Excellent quality value. This is a handy, sturdy and attractive ice cream scoop with a unique, pointed-edged shape that works its way through the hardest ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet or sherbet with minimal effort. Its hefty body fits comfortably in the hand, making it require less force to operate than the more traditional scoops do, and keeping you away from cramped hands and other tension related injuries.
Like the rest of the products from the OXO Good Grips line, this one is a great value of superior quality, unsurpassed durability and flawless performance. Its ergonomic design and big, pressure-absorbing, outstanding non-slip grip, complete with flexible fins to accommodate your fingers and an oversized hole for easy hanging, allow you comfortable, daily, wet or dry use. Excellent value I paid $36 for this set, sight unseen (at that price, it was worth a gamble). I'm delighted, since this is a fairly conservative, no-frills, solid, heavy set of flatware. It's attractive, looks expensive, and feels good in the hand. This isn't for those who prefer a more delicate handle, but if you like something substantial in your flatware, this is a good choice.
Terrible Design This dispenser has three things wrong with it: first and worst, the body of the dispenser is made in two parts and the bottom part, with even a small bump, falls off and all the soap spills out. This has happened endlessly with both of the dispensers we bought. Second, the soap shoots out horizontally, not down as one would expect. So until you get used to placing your hand in front of, rather than under, the spout, you get soap all over your clothes. This is especially disconcerting when you have guests, who invariably exit the bathroom with a wet streak down their pants. Finally, the cap sticks in the down position. We would never buy this product again.
Luxurious and practical European-style waffle weave cotton bath towels are hard to find and often very expensive. While some people like thick, plush terry, others prefer the thinner and brisker spa-style waffle weave. This bath sheet is well made of first-quality fabric, and very generously sized. Waffle-weave towels should be washed before the first use so the waffles will pucker to the correct texture, perfect for a gently stimulating rubdown after bath or shower. These towels dry more quickly than terry, wear well over repeated washings, and store in less space. I've paid a good deal more for waffle weave towels of lesser quality--when I could even find them. After much searching, I was delighted to finally find this excellent towel available at such a reasonable price. If you want a thick, plush, velvety towel, this isn't for you; but if you like spa towels, you'll be well pleased.
Attractive and fun This salad set adds character to the kitchen! The dark stained wood is attractive, and it is as much a decoration as something we use on special occasions. If you don't have a great deal of space on your table, this is also a charming way to enhance your table setting without getting in the way of other dishes. The bowl is not attached to the 3-legged platform, so you can always separate it if needed, though don't put it near anyone's elbows or you'll have a bit of a mess. . While it's not best to use the dishwasher, it takes little time to clean. Comes boxed with legs disassembled: each of the long legs comes in two pieces and they screw together easily. These attach to the base. Easy setup, great look!
