This Saddle Up! Doorknocker Knocked Her Socks Off!
Martha's been less than pleased with my ways as of late ("You lazy sack of you-know-what" she called me yesterday), so I figured it was as good a time as any to get her a little something to smooth over our cousinly relationship, if you get my drift.

As soon as I laid my eyes on this Saddle Up! Doorknocker, I knew it was just the gift to do the trick! When they say that this little piece of perfect craftsmanship is "Solid Brass," has a "Heavy-duty construction," came about as a result of "Detailed Sculpting," they mean it, my friend. If I ever met the sculpter of this knocker, I would tell him it's the finest knocker a man could hope to own in the U.S. or in any other country on this earth.

So here's what I did: When Martha left for the rodeo this morning, I nailed this little beauty straight into the corrugated tin door at the center of the doublewide - more or less right in the middle of the door - and then I tested the knocking sounding of the brass hitting the tin for twenty minutes or so. I'm not being untruthful when I tell you it sounds more impressive than any other knocker in this entire county. It goes: "Spritooooooing!" real loud.

When Martha gets home, I bet she's going to be happier than she's been in a real, real long time. I bet she's going to shout her dang face off with happiness.

One thing about the knocker, though: it will (slightly) dent a tin door, so watch out for that.

An impressive piece on any door, and if you can afford the steep price, a good way to show "her" that you care about "her."

The one cooking tool I don't ever want to do without
This is the most frequently used tool of all my kitchen tools. I absolutely love it! I have two in the kitchen drawer so there is never a time when I reach for it and find it unavailable. I originally bought one several years ago for the uniqueness factor, but I've since given them as gifts to every serious cook in my immediate circle.

I use it when cooking bacon, sausage, steaks, pork chops, hot dogs, etc etc etc, and it's great for getting olives and pickles out of the bottom of the jar. There are literally hundreds of uses for this handy tool, and if you're like me, you're in the kitchen every day and constantly finding more ways to use it.

We keep one in the tool box and another in the craft/sewing room as well and have surprised ourselves with how many times it has been handy to have nearby.

Nice Stand
I'm got this for my African Gray (George) and he seems to like it.
As for the human perspective, I love it. I'm replacing a smalerl stand that had a pan that was smaller, and had a rolled edge so it couldn't be covered by the wood chips I use. And because of that I was constantly having to clean the edges. This tray is large and has vertical sides, about an inch and half high. So it will hold a lot of bedding, or even newspaper really well. Be sure to pay attention to the dimensions of this stand That tray is a full 36" I noted that when I bought it, but it still had me a little worried when I saw the box. It worked out fine but you need to make sure you have room for something 36" across in the room you plan to use it in.
I really like the colors. The tray and seed cups are a very nice green color, with the legs being black. The perch is a good size for the larger birds, and it's textured. The seed cups are heavy resin material with metal threads so I expect them to last and look good for a long time. The stand was easy to assemble, and is not heavy for a stand of this size. The wheels were the hardest thing to install, they required some careful taps with a hammer.

Angel Statue
I was somewhat disappointed in that the picture shows the angel sitting on a stone or ledge. However, this stone or ledge is not included with the statue so I will have to find some place to sit her where she can be balanced and not keep falling over. It probably mentioned this in the description but I did not notice it. I went solely by the picture.

Otherwise the statue is very cute.

works great, BUT !!!! $22 per month for a filter ???
great product, but they get you when it comes to filter replacement, average is about 20 - 22 bucks per month, so you will need to order a bunch of them to save on $ 7.50 shipping in addition each time as well, i have a very clean, steril home, and one machine in each room, they never last for ore than about 30 days, you must change them, even if the red light does not go on, they suck every thing out of the air.
