Broke on the 4th sqeeze
Don't waste your time or money. Worked great for 3 1/2 squeezes. Then broke at the neck on the 4th squeeze. It's not aluminum or steel. It's made of some kind of composite metal... reminds me of the plasteel used in models. It's a bit stronger than plasteel, but it's not steel or aluminum. At least it was only $12.

Didn't slow my dog down enough
Even after using this dish, my dog still had trouble from eating too fast. I consulted my vet and he suggested I use a dish with a stand that raises the dish off the floor and feed canned food or home-prepared food instead of kibble. I tried that instead of this dish and my dog hasn't had any more problems with eating too fast.

The two bath rugs were obviously folded in stock for a long time. There was a crease mark down the middle of each. Called the company & asked if I washed them & it didn't come out, would I get a refund including shipping with no restocking fee. They said yes. Not only did the crease discoloration not come out, one of the rugs lost fibers through the back on that line. Received a refund but not for the return postage. So it cost me over $10 for nothing but aggravation.

Gold standard?
There are pros and cons to this conical, gold-coated filter.

Pros: You can reduce the use of paper products.
Your filter never runs out
Makes an ok cup

Cons:
Finer grinds make more sludge in the bottom of the carafe, just not as good a filter as paper.
The gold eventually wears off. It is bonded to the mesh, but gold is relatively inert and doesn't bond well to anything.

I've bought a few of these over the years, but overall, I prefer brown filter paper for coffee making.

DREAM COAT BROUGHT RELIEF FOR MY PRECIOUS DUKE
My Golden Lab, Duke, suffered terribly with very huge and very red hot spots on his trunk and had itching and balding on his haunches from flea allergies. For two years, we treated him at the vet's and I also bought every product I could find everywhere else to try to help him. All the expense (apprx. $2,000) and vet treatment would bring him relief for about two weeks at a time, then it was back to severe discomfort. In desperation I continued to search.
