Tuscan table top
Extremely pleased with this table cover. It made my tired old patio table look like new, it looks like an actual marble table. Have received several compliments on it.

Didn't know this was a "teether" toy
I bought this toy for my large full-grown dogs, not realizing it was a toy for puppies. They destroyed it in less than five minutes. The description wasn't really clear on the dog stage this toy was meant for.

Cooks okay - some concerns.
I received the product and am satisfied with the way it cooks. Just two things concerned me and I am still waiting for the "As-seen-on-TV" group to resolve/quell my concerns:

(1) The drip tray at the back of the unit - where the condensation is supposed too drip to when/while cooking and after you open the lid - was broken. I emailed "As-seen-on-TV" and they responded by saying they had contacted the manufacturer and were going to wait to see what they (i.e., the manufacturer) can do/will advise. Why they cannot just send me a new/replacement drip tray is beyond me;

(2) The square turning stem that comes off the roller wheels and joins into the unit - as the cooking time goes on, it seems this stem "unscrews" itself from the units motor turning assembly resulting in the roller wheel assembly no longer "turning" the dogs. Synopsis: I found that I had to occasionally "push the roller assembly back into the units motor stem connector with the plastic tongs. And by the by, the plastic tongs melted somewhat where I used them to push the roller assembly into the connector; couldn't use a metal utensil as the instructions say not to use metal to touch the rollers as may give off an electric shock.

Idiot-Proof Your Hot Cup of Coffee
Though initially skeptical due in part to the many negative reviews, having thoroughly tested the one I bought, I can attest that it does precisely what it claims to do.

What it claims to do is to allow you to sip your hot-brewed coffee right from the start without the possibility of burning your mouth while keeping the rest of the coffee hot for a long time, and this it does almost perfectly!

What makes this possible is a lid with three settings: Lock, Tip & Cool, Sip. On the Tip & Cool setting with the sip slot and metal lip guard facing you, you rock the mug away from you to about 45 degrees, thus allowing hot coffee to fill the patented Temperature Control Chamber, immediately bring it back upright again, and then immediately sip or pour the contents of Temperature Control Chamber into your mouth.

In those short seconds the coffee has cooled sufficiently to prevent injury while the bulk of the coffee remains hot. Finish your sip and repeat the process until your coffee is finished or has cooled sufficiently to drink without further cooling.

Note: although the inventor has publicly admitted some initial quality control problems due to unexpectedly high initial demand, IMHO most of the reported problems are to due to failures of common sense on the part of purchasers.

First of all, there is the matter of the locking tabs for lid and cup just below the sip slot and above the metal lip guard. To work properly the lid must be screwed shut to the point they meet AND NO FURTHER! Snap these off, and you will have difficulty lining the lid up properly on the cup, an absolute necessity to it working correctly. Since both parts are plastic, I recommend eyeballing the lid tab for misalignment and then slowing down as you complete the second closing turn so as to bring the tabs together gently. In addition the locking tabs of a newly purchased cup should be examined and exchanged if they come damaged.

Second, this is not a Thermos bottle; it is not designed for filling and tossing into your bag. In Lock mode, which it defaults to every time you screw the lid back on, it will still leak a little if you turn it upside down, not counting the contents of the Temperature Control Chamber which are OUTSIDE the locked area anyway. However, once you have sipped that dry, Lock mode will prevent you splashing yourself with coffee during any conceivable bumps unless the cup goes completely airborne and flips over.

Third, it can take a little fiddling to line up the middle selection Sip for when the coffee has cooled enough to drink normally, but that means that the more critical settings: Lock, all the way to the left, and Tip & Cool, all the way to the right, are virtually impossible to screw up.

Defects? I could use a coffee cup like handle that I could hook a finger through, I'd like tougher (larger) locking tags, and a completely sealing lid that WOULD allow you to toss it in your bag like a Thermos bottle would be nice to have, but these are minor points.

There are twelve other colors to choose from: Cobalt, Dusk, Flamingo, Mediterranean, Midnight, Mist, Passion, Ruby, Seaglass, Spring, Sunshine, and Truffle.

Great Lunch Tote!
I've had this product for about a month and it's been great! It arrived in the projected time frame and I use it about twice a week. There's plenty of room: I've fit bowl-sized tupperware, a travel mug, a 14oz water bottle, and yogurt all in there at once (it was a little tight but it zipped up alright thanks to the stretchy neoprene).

It insulates a little, although not as much as some other lunch carriers. I don't have a fridge at work, and it's summertime. While the food doesn't really stay cold, it doesn't get warm before I eat it. Since the bag is soft, if you put the tote in a backpack or something, your food might end up a little squished (but it is nice to be able to fold it up and put it in your bag once it's empty).

The only thing I had a problem with was the fact that it was actually so big--it's rather cumbersome when you just need to bring a sandwich and a yogurt cup. So, I'm thinking of getting Built's smaller LB Lunch Tote. Their products are definitely high-quality and worth spending a little more; I'd definitely buy from them again.

Oh, the last thing, which heavily influenced which kind of lunch tote I got: it is fun and fashionable! The polka dot pattern is adorably whimsical. The colors are more vivid in real life than in the pictures.
